OutLaw is hosting a Name Change Clinic to provide free, one-on-one assistance to members of the Detroit community seeking to legally change their name in the State of Michigan.

The clinic will take place on Saturday, March 7, from 12–4 PM at Wayne State University Law School throughout the first-floor Partrich Lobby area.

The clinic will provide assistance with the name change process, including help with completing and organizing required paperwork. Trained law student volunteers will be available to guide participants through each step in a welcoming, affirming, and confidential environment. This clinic is open to all community members seeking assistance and to law students interested in volunteering.

No prior experience is required for volunteers, and training will be provided.

Food will be provided for law student volunteers.
