2026 Ilitch School Startup Technology Pitch Competition

• All Wayne State University students of all majors, undergraduate or graduate, are invited to participate

• This year's competition will have $35,000 in cash prizes

• This year there are now two tracks you can pursue - Science and Life Science, and Business and Consumer Technology - $17,500 in prizes for each track. 

• It is not required, but strongly encourage students to network and create multidisciplinary teams from business, engineering, computer science, life sciences, arts, music, etc. The strongest teams have complementary talents and experience.

• Pitch submissions are due on Feb 9. We will have workshops and more information sessions before then.
