Join the Economics community in celebrating the achievements of economics and mathematical economics majors! The event will recognize several student awards honoring excellence in academics, service and other contributions. Students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends of the department are invited to attend.
The Li Way Lee Lion Undergraduate Research Award is now open for submissions, with a deadline of March 27, 2026. Contact economics@wayne.edu to apply.
The Li Way Lee Lion Award was established in 2007 through a gift from Wayne State alumnus G. Michael Loewe ('73), who received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics and History.
