Wayne Women LEAD Presents: "Worth the Ask: Pay Equity & the Power of Self-Advocacy"
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
In honor of Women’s History Month, Wayne Women LEAD would like to extend an invitation to all faculty and staff to join us for an honest and empowering panel discussion focused on pay equity, self-advocacy, and career advancement at Wayne State University.
Too often, we’re told that if we work hard, recognition and compensation will naturally follow. But is that the reality? This dynamic conversation will explore the unspoken rules, the progress we’ve made, and the gaps that still exist — along with practical strategies you can use to advocate effectively for yourself and others.
This panel is designed to be candid, practical, and empowering — whether you are early in your career, mid-career, or in a leadership role.
We encourage all faculty and staff who are interested in professional growth, equity, and leadership development to attend.
