The 2025-26 WSU School of Medicine Resident Council and the Office of Graduate Medical Education are pleased to host the annual Professional Development Symposium. This event is designed primarily for medical residents and fellows, but medical school faculty, staff, and medical students are welcome to attend. It will be held as a virtual event. The topic is Negotiating Your First Contract. The scheduled speaker is James Paxton, M.D., MBA, FACEP, Associate Clinical Professor, WSU School of Medicine Dept. of Emergency Medicine.  

This event is free, but those interested should register. Questions for the presenter can be submitted at that time. All registrants will receive the meeting link in advance of the event.
