The Eugene Applebaum College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Wayne State University will host its Spring Open House on Thursday, April 9, from 4 to 6 p.m., welcoming prospective students, families and community members to explore the college’s academic programs and learning spaces.

The event will give visitors an opportunity to learn how the college prepares students for careers across a wide range of health professions.

Guests can tour classrooms and laboratories, meet faculty and current students, and learn about the academic pathways available at the college. Visitors can also participate in interactive sessions highlighting the hands-on learning experiences offered across the college’s programs. Demonstrations from the nurse anesthesia program will take place at 4:15 p.m., 4:45 p.m. and 5:15 p.m., while presentations from the physician assistant studies program will be offered at 4:15 p.m. and 5:15 p.m.

Throughout the event, attendees will have opportunities to speak with faculty, staff and students about academic programs, career pathways and the student experience at Wayne State.
