SBG's Family, Friends, and Alumni Banquet is an annual community-building event designed to celebrate the people and relationships that support Wayne Law students throughout their legal education. The banquet brings together students, their families and friends, alumni, faculty, and administrators for an evening of connection, recognition, and shared pride in the Wayne Law community.

The event serves multiple purposes. First, it intends to provide a reception/networking and mingling dinner provided through catering. Second, SBG will announce the Professor of the Year awards, student organization awards, and SBG Governor Awards. Third, the event will provide an opportunity for student organizations to table, sponsoring organizations to table, and for the new student board to announce its plans for the 2026-2027 school year.
