Presented by Labor@Wayne, HELU, Public Good U, and AAUP

Join us at Labor@Wayne for strategic research on Understanding Public Budgets on April 30! The day will have four panels with in-person and online attendees. The day will start with Sean O'Brien and Kit Hishmeh on an introductory session on how to FOIA public budget information. The second will be a panel with Justin Flores from the Private Equity Stakeholder Project (https://pestakeholder.org/). The third will be an online session with Chris Newfield and Kevin de Liban (Techtonic Justice) on understanding the increasing role of AI within public institutions.

Finally, four panelists will bring us home to discuss in-depth considerations around public budgets featuring Matt Seybold (American Vandal podcast), Kelly Grotke & Stephen Hastings (both from the Pattern Recognition Research Collective), and Sofya Aptekar (Coalition Against Campus Debt).
