June 1st is the suggested admission deadline for transfer students hoping to receive a Transfer Merit Scholarship or the Wayne State Guarantee for fall 2026. This means that right now is a good time to start your Wayne State Application. 

Fall 2026 Transfer Admission Workshops are intended to guide students who have started or submitted their transfer application, but do have questions about missing materials, their credit evaluation, financial aid, and required next steps.  

Topics Include:  

• Guidance on submitting missing official transcripts required for admission.  

• Information on submitting FAFSA and what you may qualify for upon admission.  

• Insight into the review of your Wayne State transfer application.  

• Opportunities to engage with Wayne State’s transfer student support network.  

• Overview of understanding your Transfer Credit Evaluation.  

• Necessary steps to complete after receiving an admission decision.  

Transfer Admission Workshops are hosted virtually via Zoom, and registration is required.
