Abstract

The biggest questions in human health often need more than small convenience samples to answer. This session will present information on how to conceptualize and conduct studies using population representative survey data, with examples from cross-sectional and longitudinal surveys. We will discuss technical requirements, strategies to identify datasets and collaborators, and how to read, interpret, and critique existing literature with claims of representativeness.
