Collaboration Planning Facilitator Training hosted by DORI
9 a.m. to noon
The Division of Research & Innovation is pleased to host a workshop, Collaboration Planning Facilitator Training. This workshop will be held on June 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon (location TBA), and is designed for research staff and faculty who want to support team science at the institutional level. This is a training for trainers.
The guest presenter will be Betsy Rolland, Ph.D., founder of The Team Science Lab
Participants will learn to deliver Collaboration Planning — an evidence-based intervention that helps research teams build trust, develop conflict-resolution processes before they're needed, and establish the communication and coordination systems that sustain strong collaboration.
The workshop covers how to launch and recruit for a Collaboration Planning program, how to facilitate a session using a tested Facilitator Guide and structured worksheet, and how to evaluate program outcomes. It includes both didactic content and hands-on practice in small groups.
Participants will leave with access to all facilitation materials, including the Collaboration Planning worksheet, a detailed Facilitator Guide with scripts and prompts, and pre- and post-session evaluation tools.

The Facilitator Training is open to all faculty, researchers, and staff supporting all disciplines of research.
Registration is required!
Location will be emailed to registered participants. The Facilitator Training will not be recorded.
