This in-person training is provided to individuals as part of the regulatory compliance training. In this session, the DLAR Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for working within a vivarium containment room will be covered. This training starts with a didactic presentation followed by individual hands-on evaluations. Attendees will be evaluated on their knowledge of entering/exiting the containment room, working within a biosafety cabinet, cage manipulations, proper PPE and hazard disposal.
