Join the Division of Research & Innovation for the next Lunch & Learn session, Accelerating Innovation Through MTRAC Funding, on Thursday, July 9 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. in 5057 Woodward, 6th Floor, Conference Room A.

This informative Lunch & Learn will feature leaders from Michigan’s MTRAC (Michigan Translational Research and Commercialization) programs.

Supported by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC), MTRAC is a statewide initiative that helps transform promising research discoveries from Michigan universities and nonprofit research institutions into commercial products, startup companies, and real-world solutions. Through funding, mentorship, industry engagement, and business development support, MTRAC helps innovators reduce technical and market risk, accelerate technology development, and advance innovations toward commercialization.

During this session, participants will gain an overview of Michigan’s five MTRAC programs: Advanced Computing, Advanced Transportation, Advanced Applied Materials, AgBio, and Life Sciences. Program directors will share insights into funding opportunities, program resources, and pathways for researcher engagement.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask questions and learn how MTRAC can help advance their research from the laboratory to the marketplace.

The event is free; registration is required.
