On July 29 at 2 p.m. EST, SIS Associate Dean Shannon Oltmann joins Emily Knox, interim dean and professor at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and UIUC doctoral student Andy Zalot to share findings from the Mapping Information Access research project. Over the past two years, the team has interviewed public library directors across the country about their experiences on the front lines of book challenges. Attendees will hear preliminary findings from this research, including best practices for policies and procedures that libraries can put to work right away.
