The Office of Multicultural Student Engagement (OMSE) will be celebrating our eigth annual Wayne State University (WSU) Welcome Black event! Welcome Black 2026 will be held on Saturday, August 29th at 4:00 PM in the Student Center Ballroom. We anticipate over 300 attendees! Please come out for an opportunity to connect with staff, faculty, alumni, and most importantly hundreds of students! Welcome Black is open to all members of WSU to build community, understanding, and respect.
