This month's IFG lecture hosts Dr. Gerald Morris, MD, PhD, Director of the Center for Transplantation Science at UCSD and a proud graduate of Wayne State University.

Dr. Morris is a distinguished clinician scientist. His lab studies T lymphocyte function and development in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. He is widely recognized for discovering a rare population of dual T cell receptor (TCR) cells and their important role in acute and chronic graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and his contribution to improving transplant safety through high-resolution HLA genotyping and novel GVHD prophylaxes. His lecture will be focused on the role of dual T cell receptor T cells in the immunity against tumors.
