The Office of Health Research invites the campus community to a bi-monthly Lunch and Learn series focused on various research topics, tools, best practices and important updates for Wayne State University faculty. The event is free; RSVP is required.
This event will be on Tuesday, September 1, 2026 from 12 PM to 1 PM. Please join us in an engaging presentation led by Ametris team members Madisen Pooton, Senior Sales Executive, Public Health and Academia; Hayden Davis, Senior Director, Public Health & Academia; and Josh Macdonald, Senior Program Manager. Abstract
During this Lunch & Learn, we will provide an overview of the Ametris LEAP solutions and its fit-for-purpose device family. We will explore the available sensor options, from our core tri-axis accelerometer for physical activity and sleep measurement to more advanced sensor options incorporating PPG technology for physiological measures.
The session will also include a live demonstration of our software solutions, including ActiLife, our desktop-based platform designed for hands-on, customizable data analysis, and CentrePoint, our web-based platform designed for remote monitoring and near-real-time data access.
Join us to learn how Ametris LEAP devices and software can support a range of clinical research and data collection needs.
This is an in-person event, and it will not be recorded. Registration is required by August 28th, and seating is limited. A light lunch and refreshments will be served.
All Lunch & Learn sessions will be held on the first and third Tuesday of the month from 12 to 1 PM. with the exception of some dates due to holidays and events.
