Research Grand Challenges proposal information session
Noon to 1 p.m.
The Research Grand Challenges program is entering its second year, and the Division of Research & Innovation (DORI) is accepting a new round of proposals for Seed Grants and Development Grants through September 20, 2026. The application portal opens soon — stay tuned for the announcement.
Seed Grants: $15,000–$30,000 for one year, for interdisciplinary teams aiming to build a history of effective collaboration and increase team readiness to submit competitive proposals for large-scale external funding within the next 2-3 years
Development Grants: $50,000–$75,000 for 12–24 months, for established interdisciplinary teams developing a large-scale, center-size external proposal within that timeframe.
Info Session: Join DORI on September 3, 2026 at 12 pm for a walkthrough of requirements, eligibility, timeline, and the review process — plus plenty of time for Q&A. Registration link is above.
