ESG Crafty Hours is returning for Fall 2026 with our September craft night: Tie Dye

Join ESG students and faculty to get crafty, and probably a little dirty with tie dye! The art of dying textiles has been around for ages, and believe it or not, has deep connections with environmental science and geology; from sourcing pigments and fibers to refurbishing and reusing old clothing.

Some white t-shirts will be provided to dye, but if you have something you want to dye, please bring it! We will have at least 4 colors of dye, including WSU colors, of course! No prior experience is necessary, we will all learn together!

This is a great opportunity to meet fellow students and make something pretty. Even if you don't want to dye anything, you are still welcome to join us and hang out!
