RAINBOW MOVIE NIGHT

Rainbow Movie Night is a community film series presented by the Center for Gender and Sexuality at Wayne State University. The series showcases contemporary and classic LGBTQ+ cinema in a theatrical space, free to all who wish to attend.

MOVIE SYNOPSIS

A space princess is thrust out of her sheltered life and into a galactic quest to save her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from the Straight White Maliens. She finds herself on a wild intergalactic journey filled with drag queens, pop stars, and problematic spaceships. Along the way, she confronts her deepest anxieties and discovers that saving the gay-laxy might just start with saving herself. Think Rick and Morty meets Sailor Moon — with more glitter, more sex jokes, and 100% more lesbians.
