The U.S. Department of State's Gilman International Scholarship Program makes awards of up to $5,000 for undergraduates who are U.S. citizens and Pell Grant recipients, in order to make study abroad experiences more accessible.

Applications are accepted twice annually, and the next deadline is coming up on October 1, 2026! This cycle covers study abroad programs that start between December 1, 2026 - October 31, 2027.

At this Gilman info session, hosted by the WSU Office of Fellowships:

• We'll have snacks and Q&A
• We'll even jumpstart your Gilman application through brainstorming about essay responses
