Sleep and Wake Up to Good Health
This training explores the critical role sleep plays in overall wellness, including brain function, emotional stability, and physical health. Participants learn why sleep is essential for memory consolidation, creativity, emotional regulation, immune support, and heart health. The session highlights recommended sleep amounts, the benefits of quality sleep such as stress management, healthy weight maintenance, reduced inflammation, and improved performance, and explains the importance of REM sleep in cognitive functioning. It also examines differences in sleep patterns between men and women and how stress and lifestyle impact sleep quality. Finally, participants discover how their five senses and sleep environment influence their ability to fall and stay asleep, equipping them with practical strategies to improve nightly rest and overall well-being.
