Where:
Student Center (Hilberry E,F)
Event category: Special event
In-person

How does WSU work to fulfill its mission? In what ways does WSU act with integrity? How does your role fit into that bigger picture? Learn the answers to these questions and help your WSU colleagues prepare for the upcoming Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation review site visit by attending the open forum prep sessions!

Join this open forum to learn what WSU included in the “assurance argument,” the documentation prepared by WSU contributors from across campus, which HLC reviewers will evaluate. Contributors to the argument will share examples of how WSU meets HLC’s Criterion 1: Mission and Criterion 2: Integrity and practice answering common reviewer questions and receive feedback on those responses. This Q&A will help contributors practice discussing the argument in advance of the site visit and will help members of the campus community learn about how WSU meets HLC criteria.

This is the first of three sessions to help the campus community prepare for the HLC accreditation review site visit on Oct. 26 and 27. Each session focuses on one or more of the accreditation criteria, including Criterion 1: Mission, Criterion 2: Integrity, Criterion 3: Teaching and Student Success, and Criterion 4: Institutional Effectiveness. Attending these sessions is a great way to learn how the university strives for excellence and how you are part of WSU’s success.
