Curious about applying for a UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program) award to fund a faculty-mentored research or creative project? Join this workshop to learn about UROP funding and what makes a proposal stand out. You will learn how to:

Explore and identify a project topic

Pitch your project idea and explain why it matters

Show how your project connects with existing research or creative work

Put together a project budget

Identify and highlight your learning goals

Articulate project outcomes and impacts
- Work with your mentor to strengthen your proposal
The workshop will also address how UROP proposals are evaluated and the importance of writing in your own authentic voice.
Undergraduate students from any major and year are invited to attend!
