Join us for an afternoon with Dr. Gary A. Hoover, executive director of the Murphy Institute at Tulane University and professor of economics and law.

His book, “Ladder or Lottery: Economic Promises and the Reality of Who Gets Ahead,” asks: Is our economy a ladder or a lottery? Dr. Hoover will discuss the book and the urgent questions our society faces about social mobility and access. This discussion promises to explore how we can best align social promises with our shared economic reality.

All WSU students, faculty and staff are welcome to join us for the conversation and a book signing following the event. This special event is not to be missed!
