Come learn about the archaeology and history of Michigan at the Gordon L. Grosscup Museum of Anthropology, Detroit's only Anthropology museum. Our current exhibit Fort Archaeology of Michigan highlights artifacts from Detroit to the Keweenaw Peninsula, including objects excavated by Wayne State University students.
Located on the first floor of Old Main, you can find us in the central corridor of the building in room 1227, directly above the Planetarium and Mineral Museum. Enjoy our exhibit and get your Family & Friends Day passport stamped!
