Current Wayne Law students are invited to attend the Lunch with a Lawyer series, presented by the Office of Development and Alumni Affairs and the Office of Career Succes.

This program is designed to help current Wayne Law students reflect on their law school experience and explore unique, high-impact career paths. This event features alumna Lunch with a Lawyer, featuring Michael Pitt (J.D.'96), who will discuss his journey and passion for justice that has defined his career.

About the Speaker:

Michael Pitt is a Wayne Law graduate, founding partner of Pitt, McGehee, Palmer, Bonanni & Rivers, and a nationally recognized trial lawyer with more than five decades of experience advocating for individuals and communities. Throughout his career, Michael has represented clients in complex employment, civil rights, and personal injury matters, tried more than 60 cases, and served as class counsel in landmark litigation. A past president of both the Michigan Association for Justice and Public Justice, Michael has been honored with numerous awards for his commitment to justice, advocacy, and public service, including induction into the Wayne Law Alumni Wall of Fame

Lunch will be provided for students who register in advance. Space is limited. Walk-ins are welcome at the event, but lunch may not be guaranteed.
