Join us for an important conversation: The Road Ahead: Understanding a Triple Negative Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Exploring Treatment

Come for the information. Stay for the conversation. Leave with clarity and support. Join us for a Community Conversation on Cancer session that breaks down the basics in plain language. During this seminar, Dr. Hadeel Assad will discuss what to expect after a triple negative breast cancer diagnosis and how to determine which treatment options might be best for you and Dr. Hassan Korkaya will discuss how research on mice is helping us understand how triple negative breast cancer spreads, how the body's immune system affects the cancer, and how new treatments are being developed.

Karmanos Cancer Institute's Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE), in collaboration with the Detroit Public Library, invites you to our next Community Conversation on Cancer. This event will be held both in person at the Detroit Public Library (Main Branch) and virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, October 21, 2026.

Please contact Karmanos Cancer Institute COE Events at kcicoeevents@karmanos.org or via phone at 313-576-8911 with any questions or for help with registration.
