Where:

Join John Corvino, Professor of Philosophy and Dean Emeritus of the Irvin D. Reid Honors College, as he launches his new book The Other Side: A Moderate's Manifesto on How to Disagree. Corvino will provide a brief summary of the arguments of the book, followed by comments from his colleagues Prof. Ashley Woodson and Prof. Kevin Deegan-Krause, followed by a rejoinder from Prof. Corvino. A book sale and signing will follow the event.

Note: Because Prof. Corvino has a neurodegenerative disorder that affects his speech, he will utilize AI voice-cloning technology—designed by a Wayne State student—to provide his comments.

Copies of John Corvino's new book, The Other Side: A Moderate's Manifesto on How to Disagree will be available for purchase and signing by the author following the program.

Attendees will find on-street parking options in the neighborhood, or can pay for parking at nearby WSU Parking Structure #1, located on the corner of Cass and Palmer.
