1. Summarize recent FDA-approved pharmacologic treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and dementia-related symptoms, including their indications, evidence base, and practical considerations for the care team.
2. Identify non-pharmacologic and holistic interventions for managing behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia, such as agitation, anxiety, and sleep disturbances.
3. Compare traditional and emerging medication approaches for cognitive impairment including dementia-related agitation and behaviors.

1. Identify why caregiving networks matter to dementia care.
