This interactive workshop equips clinicians preparing for supervisory roles and current supervisors with practical strategies to strengthen clinical supervision, provide meaningful feedback, navigate supervisory challenges, promote clinician growth, and foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning. Participants will also explore strategies for balancing administrative responsibilities with supportive clinical supervision while promoting ethical practice, professional development, and high-quality client care. Through real world case examples and practical application, attendees will leave with actionable tools they can implement immediately to strengthen their leadership, enhance team performance, and improve clinical outcomes.

Dr. Ieisha Norris, Psy.D., LPC, NCC

Dr. Ieisha Norris, Psy.D., LCPC, LPC, NCC is a Doctor of Psychology, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (Illinois), Licensed Professional Counselor (Michigan), and National Certified Counselor with more than 15 years of experience in behavioral health and over a decade of leadership in clinical supervision, behavioral health operations, clinician development, and professional training. A proud Wayne State University alumni, she is committed to strengthening social work and behavioral health practice through practical, evidence-informed education that enhances clinical practice, leadership, and organizational excellence. Dr. Norris currently serves as a Behavioral Health Clinical Director, providing direct clinical services, supervising clinicians, offering clinical consultation, and leading staff development initiatives. Throughout her career, she has directed clinical operations, developed and facilitated training programs, supervised licensed clinicians and interns, and partnered with multidisciplinary teams to improve clinical quality, employee engagement, and client outcomes. As the founder of Taylor EQ Institute, Dr. Norris provides consultation, leadership development, and continuing education to behavioral health organizations, schools, colleges and universities, businesses, nonprofits, and professional organizations. She also provides mental health education and professional development for high school students and educators, as well as leadership coaching. Drawing on extensive clinical and leadership experience, Dr. Norris delivers engaging, practical presentations on clinical supervision, trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, leadership, workplace mental health, clinician development, and evidence-based practice.
