Join fellow Wayne State students and alumni for an insightful afternoon of networking and career development as the Wayne State University Alumni Association hosts Small Plates, Big Ideas on Friday, March 23, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Tierney Alumni House with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan's Vice President of Business Performance Ron Wood. Learn from a successful administrator on how you can use a math degree to excel in various careers.

Wood, who earned his bachelor’s and master’s in mathematics from Wayne State, provides executive leadership in cost effective process improvements while also advancing divisional diversity and inclusion initiatives at BCBSM.

Small Plates, Big Ideas is a student success initiative that pairs Wayne State students with specially selected alumni for a career networking meal. If you are a current Wayne State student interested in attending this free event, please contact Joye Clark at joye.clark@wayne.edu or 313-577-2161.
