Wayne Law Legal Briefs, with Tierney Eaton Hoffman '08, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs
5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Legal Briefs program highlights current legal content for alumni, students, and friends of Wayne Law. This virtual event is hosted and moderated by the law school's development and alumni affairs team. The program’s total run time is about 1 hour, which includes presentation time and an opportunity for guests to ask questions and connect in dialogue.
On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. EDT, join us for our latest Legal Briefs program with Tierney Eaton Hoffman '08, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs. Hoffman’s interests are in the areas of academic achievement, diversity, equity, belonging, and law student mental health and well-being. With the assistance of Ms. Denise Lewis and the generosity of the Denise Lewis Fund, Hoffman has developed a pilot program to study cohort learning and its impact on the academic success and socio-emotional experience of the law school’s first-year Damon J. Keith Scholars.
During this program, Hoffman will discuss the programs that she has been leading to bring more individuals from underrepresented groups into the practice of law.
This event is virtual (Zoom) and login details will be shared with registered guests ahead of the event.
Registration will open in late Fall 2024.
