Please join us for an evening of Japanese American culture featuring the Detroit premier of the moving documentary film Amache Rose produced by denver botanic films on January 26, 2024 at 6:30 pm in the Helen L.DeRoy Auditorium. The DeRoy Auditorium was designed byworld-renowned Japanese American architect Minoru Yamasaki. The screening will include a Q&A session with director Billy Kanaly and Amache internment camp survivor Carlene Tanigoshi Tinker. Reception to follow.

Event and reception are free of charge, courtesy of the Gordon L. Grosscup Museum of Anthropology and the Denver Botanic Gardens.
