Stories of Hope and Healing
As children, they were sent to die in prison. A Supreme Court ruling later made it possible to go home. Hear from a panel of former juvenile lifers who will tell their stories and explain why Michigan must stop being one of the last places in the world sending kids to die in prison.
The screening will take place at Bernath Auditorium inside the David Adamany Undergraduate Library. Visitor parking is available in Parking Structure 2, which is a 7 minute walk from the venue.
Part of the Life Beyond Life Screening Series collection. Presented in partnership with Safe & Just Michigan, The Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth, and the Center for Behavior Health and Justice at the Wayne State University School of Social Work.
