CRITICAL GUIDANCE FOR THE PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER

There is an increasing expectation for organizations to respond quickly and in real-time during a crisis – and sometimes with minimal resources. Join DTE Energy and Wayne State University’s College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 for the 4^th Annual Public Information Officers Summit.

Engaging conversation surrounding best practices and strategies for navigating communications before and during a crisis will be shared by experts in the industry.

Participants will:

• Gain insight from expert analysis of crisis communication case studies
• Better understand how to navigate post-crisis waters
• Network with PIOs from across Michigan’s southeast region

Public and private sector communicators responsible for disseminating information to key publics in a crisis are encouraged to attend the event. County, city and township officials are also welcome. There is no charge for PIOs and officials.
