The Guitar Day@Wayne State is open to any and all area middle through adult aged students with a passion for improvement in their playing abilities. Some of the many exciting events for the day are listed below.

Guitar Day Clinicians:

• Scott Walter, WSU Applied Faculty in Guitar
• Anthony DiMambro, Clinician and Co-director of Suzuki Music Royal Oak
• Benjamin Chapman, Current WSU Masters Student in Classical Guitar Performance

Events will include:

• Masterclasses for all participants
• Demonstrations on preparing for university auditions, tone and technique, and advancing note reading and fretboard understanding for classical guitar
• Ensemble rehearsals
• Faculty and student performances

To Register for Guitar Day at Wayne State: 

Registration will only be available online. There is no cost to attend. Parents of participants are welcome to attend.
