Summer Piano Camp

The Wayne State University Department of Music is excited to present a one-week Summer Piano Camp focused on improving students' music interpretation and technical skills while fostering an appreciation for collaboration and performance. Each student will build on their musical abilities through individual lessons, masterclasses, and various performance opportunities throughout the week.
Leading the program will be Artist Faculty who have many years of successful teaching and performing experience including:
- Kazimierz Brzozowski, WSU Piano Faculty
- Robert Conway, WSU Piano Faculty
- Tomoko Mack, Concert Pianist and Steinway Artist
- Clif Monear (Masterclass Only), WSU Jazz Piano Faculty
The camp will be held at the Department of Music at Wayne State in Old Main located at 4841 Cass Avenue in Detroit. A final performance will be held in Schaver Music Recital Hall located within Old Main and will feature solo and ensemble performances by all the students. Family and friends are invited to this free performance.
