The symposium is a unique student organized event of graduate students to present their research to fellow students, faculty and the regional scientific community. Undergraduate students are also encouraged to participate. In addition, this event serves to introduce new graduate students to cutting edge research in the department and acquaint prospective graduate students and their faculty advisors from regional institutions with our department.
