The Great Lakes Association of Astronomy Clubs is hosting their annual sky gazing event at Island Lake Recreation Area, and the WSU Planetarium will be joining in the festivities and participating as a sponsor!  This event is free and open to the public. Novices are encouraged to come out and look through the dozens of telescopes that passionate astronomers have set towards the night sky!

This year's theme is "The 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing" .  The Moon, Jupiter and Saturn will all be visible.

The event is held rain or shine.
