Please join us in celebrating the artist Evelyn Bachorski-Bowman and the life of the most famous Polish-born Scientist, Marie Skłodowska-Curie. In August of 2018, a portrait bust of Marie Curie created by Evelyn Bachorski-Bowman, a gift of Steven and Linda Plochocki, was installed in the WSU Polish Room.

The program includes:
Evelyn Bachorski-Bowman discussing her sculpture
The Michigan Opera Theatre Chamber Trio performing 
“Trio for Clarinet, Violin and Cello” (1935) by Grażyna Bacewicz
Hors d’oeuvres and wine

Doors Open at 1:30 pm
