Student leaders of the 1989 Study-in to demand an Africana Studies (African American Studies) Department reconvene for a virtural panel discussion April 13, 2023, 5:00 – 6:30 pm to revisit the circumstance and their actions which birthed the Wayne State University’s African American Studies Department.
This is event is open to the Wayne State community and public. It will be moderated by Wayne State Faculty, Dr. Kefentse Chike.
