Join COSW for a screening of the award-winning documentary “Miss Representation.” Written and directed by Jennifer Siebel Newsome, the film illustrates "how mainstream media contribute to the under-representation of women in positions of power and influence in America and challenges the media's limited and often disparaging portrayals of women and girls, which make it difficult for women to achieve leadesrhip positions and for the average woman to feel powerful herself" (MissRepresentation.org). The screening will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session. Light refreshments will be served. Reserve your seat by Wednesday, March 20.
