To recognize both Women's History and Minority Health Awareness month, we will discuss the history of medicine for women of color and how to build health, hope and trust with the medical community. We will also discuss the need for women of color to be involved in medical research. This a collaborative events held with WSU Commission on the Status of Women; Detroit Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; and Henry Ford Health System and Delta Research and Education Foundation Research Matters for All of Us initiatives.
