Buprenorphine Lunch and Learn: Opioid Treatment Ecosystem Community of Practice
This event is in the past.
This webinar aims to provide information related to Buprenorphine for communities that may be more familiar with Methadone or Vivitrol as an MOUD medication, to assist in rounding out the knowledge necessary to provide individuals in our communities with the best care possible for their needs. As evidence shows the long-term effectiveness of Buprenorphine for the treatment of Opioid Use Disorder, there is still some hesitation within communities around improving access and prescribing this form of MOUD. The Center for Behavioral Health and Justice is proud to offer the expertise of addictionologist Dr. Kapenga on the topic of Buprenorphine for MOUD.
