The State of DEI in U.S. Medical Schools in These Uncertain Times

David Acosta, M.D., the chief Diversity and Inclusion officer for the Association of American Medical Colleges, will speak on diversity, equity and inclusion in medical schools during a virtual meeting with the Wayne State University School of Medicine on Aug. 24.
Dr. Acosta, who provides strategic vision and leadership for the AAMC’s diversity and inclusion activities across the medical education community, and who leads the association’s Equity, Diversity and Inclusion unit, will present “The State of DEI in U.S. Medical Schools in These Uncertain Times” from noon to 1:30 p.m., including a question-and-answer session.
