Webinar Training Topic: Living a Self-Determined Life

When: Thursday June 27th, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

This webinar examines what self-determination is and why it is important to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Self-determination is people with disabilities directing their lives. An individual can direct their supports and services with an individual budget. This module reviews the five principles of Self-Determination: Freedom, Authority, Support, Responsibility, and Confirmation.

** This module carries 1.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) applicable to Adult Foster Care Licensee and Administrator Training certification. **
