If you are a parent or professional seeking practical suggestions for a child/youth with a Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), you are not alone. Despite being 5% of the population of the United States, there are few services and supports for people with FASDs.

Nate Sheets is a professional with 10 years of practical experience working in family and foster homes, as well as schools and residential settings. He trains parents, therapists, teachers, and social workers all over North America, showing them that children/youth with an FASD can absolutely make progress and improve, but to do so they need to be supported in a way that makes sense for how their brain works.

In this workshop, Nate introduces you to Cognitive Supports, a model he has developed that allows parents and professionals working with anyone to re-frame difficulties and behaviors in a different way. Nate knows that punishments and traditional responses do not work for children/youth with FASDs, and continually trying these techniques only create more stress, challenging behaviors, and strained relationships.

If you are looking for a positive, intensive training with a professional who has worked with hundreds of families with FASDs, please join us for this one-of-a-kind experience!
