This training is designed to address the needs of people who support people with disabilities. Person-centered planning is a process that can be used to assist people to plan for their future through building of community relationships. Individuals attending the training will have the opportunity to:

  • Understand the definition of person-centered planning
  • Understand the contributions of direct support professionals
  • Identify 10 ways to contribute to the person-centered planning process starting tomorrow
  • Try 5 new person-centered planning methods within the next 3 months

** This training module carries 2 hours of Social Work CEUs and 2 hours of QIDP. **
