Roundtable discussion of Muslim women’s experiences on campus, part one
Bias often precedes interpretation in very specific ways when Muslim women who observe hijab engage in various public spaces. Part one of this two-part series invites students to share their experiences in public spaces on campus, especially in humanities classroom and in STEM or research. If you have similar experiences or are interested in learning more about how to interrupt assumptions and biases in our campus communities, this event will be an opportunity to share our experiences and work towards solutions.
Roundtable discussion led by Dr. Layla Saatchi
